I’m David. And I most certainly don’t have it all figured out. What I do have is a story. A story about music that went silent for years and then came back. About loving someone that remains out of reach. About the version of myself I almost never became. About what happens when you get broken open and decide to let the light in through the cracks instead of trying to clinch and close to hold everything together.
My songs are inspired by my journey. The things I can’t say in my songs will be said in the book I’m currently writing. Through it all, I’ve been led to think about what it means to be human in a world where your humanity might soon be the last thing left that’s truly yours.
